Accessing the Router's Home Page

Has it ever happened to you that you got confused about your router's settings? You have heard and seen people talking about accessing the router and changing the settings, but you have no idea how it's done. Well, it's not rocket science. After reading this article you will be easily able to access your router.

You are surfing it at webtutsplus.com 

1> Click windows + R on your keyboard. A run box will appear.

2> Type cmd and then hit enter.

3> Command Prompt box will open as seen in the image below.

4> Type ipconfig in the box and then hit enter.

5> On scrolling down you will see "Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection" option.
There you will see Default Gateway with an IP address. In this case, the IP address is 192.168.0.1

6> Go to your browser and type the IP address in the URL bar then hit enter.

7> Voila!  It's almost done. There you will see the home page of your router.
Put the User Name and Password then you will be able to access the router.

If you don't know the Username and Password, you can contact your service provider.
